I don't really like modern Ferraris after the F40, but I do like racing Ferraris, it's fun.

Even though the 360's are slower, they sound good with the Tubi exhaust, and that alone is worth the run.

Or better yet a 355 with a Tubi-- not very fast, but it sounds like an F1 car.

22K miles chipped, with full boost runs practically everyday and no issues....that my friend is reliability.... For 500.00....how can you go wrong?!?!? YOU CANT.

Like I said before, do you really think your car is on the same level as an R Turbo?

That's what I call reliable and fast.

I had almost 20,000 miles on the Protomotive setup, with no engine issues. Car always fired up, had some small development problems along the way which were fixed quickly.

Even still, I wouldn't call it factory-level reliability at those HP levels.

Take your car to one of the Nevada open road races and let's see if it can run 165mph average for 90 miles in 110 degree heat. One 993 Turbo R on this board has seen averages of 190mph for 90 miles with trap speeds of over 210mph!!!

Can you do that?

That's what you call reliable.

Unless your car has seen over 180mph regularly like Ruf cars have, I don't think you can really make that claim.

No it doesn't. It comes down to performance.

Why don't you spend less time here on more on the blackjack table so you can buy one of these wonderful machines that can give you bragging rights and the performance to back it up?

For my purposes.... it's damn reliable! Let's keep in mind that I do use the car as much as I can...have over 25K miles and get on the boost as often as I can. That's probably more than what 90% of the 996TT owners out there can say.

With no problems thus far (knock on wood), that's plenty reliable for me.

Regarding running the car in the desert for 90miles average 165mph....that would be a blast and I'd love to do it if I had the time....

This thread was not intended to "bash" BMW owners. My previous car was a BMW which I loved.

My intention was to comisserate (<spelling?) with fellow P car owners about a frequent annoyance........... M3 owners. Just kidding.

Why do more and more of the threads I read become pissing contests? That annoys me alomost as much as the M3 owners.

Because many of us here are BORED out of our minds with no new topics to talk about.

You can only talk about Stage 5000000000000 with 100000000hp so often. Or how brilliant the shine of Rejex on HRE wheels is....

So other than that, we just banter with each other and talk ****.

Since you are right over the hill from me, we should meet up sometime.
