these install in 15min....just pull the front wheel, unclip the stock one and clip the new one in, put the wheel back on....

Thanks, everybody! Looks like the GT3 RS (996) is the set that I want for the front.
Can anybody post pics of the 997TT rears? I'm really curious to see the difference between them and the 996TT rears.
Steve-do you have a price quote on the 997TT rears? I'll probably pick up the whole set from you this week!

I run the 997TT rears... they fit... I'm sure I had to make a small modification... but they do click on.

I run the same as what OAK has on page 1... this is the Cup Duct... it looks very similar in size to the one Mike has posted (top of page) but does not have the rivets... I wonder if this is the new updated version (the one Mike has posted) as I know there was a bit of confusion last year with these ducts.

I had nothing but problems after doing everything I could to assist my 996 TT brakes:
Motul fluid, then Castrol SRF, and Pagid RS29s from www.Rennstore.com, 997 GT3 RS ducts from suncoast.com - I ended up with GT3 front brakes and have zero problems.
Used very, very, hard, our 996TT brakes are just *not enough*

Definitely get the Cup ducts...had problems on and off with heat buildup but with these on the past season didn't have any issues outside of a little fade at the end of the run group in the hotest of days (95+ degrees), otherwise they felt solid.

I agree 110%, but would say that this isn't a "beginner" or "intermediate" track day problem. Once you're doing more than a couple weekends per year and moving up to the top 1/4 of cars on the track, it's time for an upgrade... Those who are floundering in beginner and intermediate groups might well just keep what they have and run good pads/fluid and be happy playing on track!

just to share, i just got off the phone with suncoast and this is what they told me:
the 996 gt3 cup brake ducts are slightly bigger than the 997 cup brake ducts
and for the rear brake ducts, they have the 996 version in stock which they told me comes from the factory for the 996 GT2. suncoast has a great price on them for $68 per side
and i'll take off the wheel this time to install them =P
