Wow...it's really nice to see the terms "PE650, PE700, PE1000" etc.. catching on so well.

I just wanted to come up with a name for my car when it was at 950 HP (I named it "PE950R" for Protomotive Engineering 950 HP, RWD). I remember Todd got a kick out of it. But I never actually thought it would stick.

If i have a stock 996 turbo with only race exhaust. What do i have to change to make the car go like yours? Is it enough to change the turbos to k24/18g and then have a protomotive tune? Or do i have to change blowoff valves, filter and so on?

K24/18g's
Greddy EBC
Better IC's
5bar FPR
Upgraded BPV's (not Blowoff valves as our cars do not come with them)
Proto Tune
Port and polish stock headers or aftermarket...
Air intake (filter or aftermarket)
Clutch (will eventually go at this power level)
Maybe take cats off of your exhaust....

I'm sure there are some things I am missing but this is most of the major stuff....

Thanks for the info! But the guy who started this thread (hollywood996tt) is still on stock ic, stock headers right? So you don´t HAVE to change all those parts, you just wont get as much hp as you would if you changed the ic and headers and son on?

All I'd recommend for 650 HP would be the following:

K24/18g's
Greddy EBC
Upgraded DV's
Proto Tune
BMC filter
Exhaust (which you already have)
Clutch

For 700+ HP get some ICs, 5bar FPR & 60 lb injectors and a Proto intake.

No need to touch the headers at this power level.

Thanks man. I´ve sent a mail to protomotive with some questions and price. I would love to put this kit on my car during the winter.

You mean Marty scammed me when he sold me his headers. I will have to charge him fair hotel rates if he comes to Texas for the mile event.
