After Replaced Oem Clutch W/heavy Duty On 1st&2nd Gear Engine Shakes
Two months ago replaced my clutch w/Kevins upgraded clutch kit
When i engage the first gear and depress the clutch pedal slowly to start move the car the engine shakes after depress clutch pedal all the way up its fine .same thing happens at the second gear but less shaking with low rpms
I thought that will happen for couple weeks and then will be fine
its been 2 months now and is still the same
there is any way we did something wrong when installed the clutch?
cause the rest of the gears when the car moving its fine.
what should i check?
Thank you in advance
Mind you before installed the new clutch everything was fine
Do you think is that slave cylinder?

did the installer crack opne the slave/master system? did he bleed it? if he didnt then its not the slave for sure. Aftermarket products just don't play the same way as stock...

If the face of the clutch has "pucks" instead being solid/smooth, you will get some chatter when starting from a stop and going in reverse. I have this in my car when going in reverse, so I've trained myself to slip the clutch very little, thus limiting the amount of chatter. BTW, by chatter, I'm not talking about noise, I'm talking about a shake/shutter. I've been told that since the face of my clutch has pucks, this is normal, and is a trade off of the heavy duty setup.
I'd ask Kevin what he thinks and if it's normal.

It's chatter as the previous poster mentioned. Does the clutch look like this? If it's a puck style like the one posted below, it's coung to chatter when the clutch is released and it tries to grab........ I bet once you break it in, if you drop the clutch, it'll grab and jerk you forward....

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Look man, I'm just trying to help. No need for attitude. Does not really matter where the kit is from no does it. Just trying to show the difference between a full face and puck style clutch face. Which BTW you can't tell from the picture you posted.........
