Marty you forgot to add your 2.1 bar "spacial tune" that Todd put in the car in TX.

All of it was installed and tuned by the Mad Professor; Todd Knighton in Arkansas.
I have run this car 19,000 miles in this config (car has total of 50,000 miles and really
runs fantastic on low boost (92 octane) or high boost Sunoco GT260 Plus.
I have never, ever seen more than 1.47 peak boost on my Greddy Boost Contoller.
I have had alot of fun with this set-up and on high boost and PSM off, this car is a serious moderate understeer transitioning to throttle contolled oversteer monster on
the road racing course. I do not have Proto's most agressive program in my car and I
keep threatening to do it but the car runs so damn well that I am not motivated to do it.

I ran 187 mph, 189, mph and 190.743 mph one year ago at the Texas Mile.

Cheers,

MK

Wow... I have the same thing...well, except for all the stuff after the 24/18G's

Did you run that mph on this setup? If not, what did you run (if you did) on my type of setup? 18G's, injectors mufflers and a 93oct tune. I was thinking it would run in the mid 180's? My car runs awesome too. These 18G's are great turbos. In this cool weather, I am spinning awd on the street all the way thru 3rd. I was thinking of going RWD and an LSD to help everything live longer, not sure yet though.

Marty... thanks for phoning in your spectatorship!

You're right... the gearing isn't ideal for record speeds, but it will do the job in getting this car to 200 in the mile... and who needs more than that in a street car? It would also be nice if we didn't have to make so many shifts
during the run.
Tim;

fantastic job!!
please post and have verified your DBox data,
specifically 0-186 mph (0-300 kph) which is a wonderful example of power
and can be compared to all the great Hi-perf European Sports Cars like
Enzos and Veyrons

Cheers,

MK

TT Boost:

stock Intercoolers?
My guess is 180 "ish", each MPH above 180 you WORK for. The only way to know is
to actually do it. Stock C6 427/505 hp Z06's go high 160's due to hideously tall 5th
where car dies at 160 coming out of 4th. Stock Ford GT's (550 hp) do mid to high
170's.

Be there or be square in March 09!

Although it is true the mad professor was there
(Todd Knighton), he did not touch my car exept to remind me to take off my
PSM after watching me granny launch my car on its way to a 189 mph run.

Todd and Todd both helped push my car in the long HOT!!!!!!!!!, line on
Saturday. (Knighton and Zuccone)

You win bonus points if you can guess what "996TT Legend" is in the picture with NO Speed Limit t-shirt!

I'm gonna try to make it!!! Yes, stock I/C's, pipng...everything else stock.

I was scoping out the ECTA site last night as Maxton is a lot closer. Do you need a cage to do the mile? There you do. Not that I don't appreciate the extra safety net it supplies, not much interested in putting a cage in my car.

You should take your Supra for a little run down the mile in march.
I bet they baby would break the old 200 barrier and you could get me a t-shirt.

Three links for results from 10/08 Texas Mile have gone up on their web site. Unfortunately, none of them work yet. Hopefully, this means raw results will be available in a day or so.

Marty... I have some driftbox data from the event, but I haven't had a chance to look at any of it yet. On one of my first runs at full power (1.6 bar), I had a 0-60 of 4.99 from rolling out from the start... but then hit 180 in 19.24 seconds in 2994.32 feet. After that the car shut down. On another run after that I hit 190 in 22.57 at 3866.12 feet.

Since it wasn't an attempt at a true 0-180 ET, I can't tell you what the car will do. These numbers may give you something to toss around though!

Talk to you soon... still playing catch up from being away!

All the best,
