Tommy Banh (my mechanic) is also looking to break 230 in a 1500 hp Supra he built. He has already done 228.

Hey Sean, I keep hearing about Tommy Banh these days, what is his shop called? Seems like he is building quite a few monsters...

Alex just called.
He was more focused on his Supra today which hit 241 (according to his d box) before it blew a belt.
He ran the 212 on 25 PSI on a practice run. He is going to run 35 psi tomorrow.

Peter, have Tommy call Don...we shredded a couple $20 serp belts in my old Supra when I would rev the **** out of it....if Tommy left the power steering pump in the car, the bracket is probably moving around. Have him call Don, he came up with a fix that prevented it from happening again...

What about David's Switzer tuned 997TT?
It will be interesting how fast a 997TT with stock gears will go?? (low gears from fact)
VR's run is pretty amazing to me. I really wish some other big guns with 996TT would
follow thru with their claims of coming to the mile.
Good luck and safe passes to all tomorrow and pray for no bikers "down"
