The wind did not bother me at all. I thought it was surprisingly light for South Texas, at least on Saturday.

I really want to come out to an event, just rough with timing right now, March event I might be able to pull off (although depends as Zone 2 at VIR annually is a BLAST)
Would be a good trip and to meet some guys I haven't met from the boards over all of these years, especially since i'm interested in running my car!
I want to hit up RUF Auto Center too

that car, however gearing may limit you?? (997TT short gearing?).

Finally back home... 95 degrees in the sun in Texas on Sunday... come home to 35 and snow!
I edited together a quick video with what footage we were able to get of our runs over the weekend.

You're right... the gearing isn't ideal for record speeds, but it will do the job in getting this car to 200 in the mile... and who needs more than that in a street car?
It would also be nice if we didn't have to make so many shifts during the run.

I wish I could have been there to see all these cars. Kinda was hoping that VR's car would have run better after all the talk. So Eddie Bellos car is still the fastest porsche turbo on the mile right?
