Smile aftermarket

I am also doing homework on an aftermarket nav unit for my 01. Please add models and pictures of the possibilities. Thanks

Didn't someone say the sound system in the 01 wasn't a Bose? I read the Bose came along in 02.

Thanks, everyone, helpful to know an aftermarket Pioneer etc. would work and give me the other goodies we all now expect (blutooth, mp3, etc.). So amp on 03+ is extra, that should be easy and straightforward.

Back to the original thread topic, have the different years (I'm primarily thinking 2002-2004) all followed similar depreciation curves? At similar miles/conditions, clearly there are significant price differences (even at current 'depressed' rates), any thoughts on how these have differened in the past, have trended going forwards, etc. would be helpful.

I'm a little unusual in that I haven't bought a new street car in > 10 years, my purchases have either been race cars (Porsche of course) or tow vehicles. I'm not too sure that the depreciation guidance for turbodiesel american pickup trucks and German supercars would necessarily be terribly similar :-)

What about the rumor that 03+ cars had a sturdier tranny and didn't suffer as much from the second gear pop-out?
