I'm contemplating installing an Alpine Head Unit (Either the 9886 or 9887) into my 996TT.

The biggest point of contemplation is how it is going to look in my car, I really can't stand how all the aftermarket head units look like they fell off a spaceship or rice rocket... but at the same time, I desire more functionality from the stock head unit. Ugh :/

I've narrowed the search down to the two Alpine units based on functionality, user opinions and also because I believe they'll stick out less than some of the other manufacturers' units.

Does anyone have either of these units in their car? Could I request you take a couple of photos of them, and/or reply with your opinion on them?
