Initial report on the GT 3076's

Please get your facts straight.
AFI built the headers. We have one fixture that was originally designed for gt28's from the initial kit we built. I know that a few people are running 30's with this setup, but it is something that i personally haven't seen or done first hand. I could very easily build headers to fit a 30r, understand that wasn't the goal when we were contacted over a year ago to build a kit based around gt28's!!
-Jesse @ AFI
BTW: What was the issue with the exhaust if you don't mind me asking?

Sean, glad your car is finally running well. Go out and run Peter in the meantime!

I have the full Proto fuel system: Secondary pump (so 2 stock Bosch 044's...this set up works great) larger injectors, lines, rails, Ford MAF wed to the Evo intake.

Everyone please get back to the thread.
Sean, please post some pics of the underside of your beautiful machine,
and get some 6 flat 60-130's or better!
FWIW: It is not uncommon for headers to fit poorly as Protomotive spent
2 hours of effing around with the first set of headers that I had recd from Orton
Performance. The set I have on now (Switzer Performance) fit perfectly and I
put them on myself so I know it for a fact!

M,
Actually the hybrid GT 28's came on much faster/abruptly but then had nothing up top.
They are an excellent street/road course turbo. But the GT 30's pull endlessly up top. I would not recommend 30's for a road course but they are much much better for highway roll ons in Mexico.
W/ the GT 28's everyone would claim I would jump them prior to the 3rd honk. And If I gave them the jump they would often keep the lead. These turbos should solve that problem nicely.
