trany removal manual
HELP GUYS! Trying to pull my trany out, removed everything, starter, clutch slave cylinder, 4 mounting bolts, trany has seperated from engine but something is holding it up on top. Am I missing something..MAG pickup? Space is very limited. Any help appreciated.

the fork is probably still in place.... there is a opening on the passanger side of the tranny ... covered by a black plastic plate... unscrew it.... then you have to carefully pull out a screw and then pull ouot the a big pin/rod thats about the size of a big pen.... thats whats holding the tranny....
If you get a step by step I would be warry doing it blind.... you will loose bushings etc if ur not careful....

thanx, thats prob it. My cd manuals descrip is poor at best. Thats what it feels like anyways. This weekend I am borrowing a borescope kit (camera) cuz I can't pull my eyeball out and see top and inside of trany,. Oh and a few months ago you gave some hints on my overboost prob. It turned out if I leave PASM on the elctronics govern it no matter what I do, I accidently turned it off on the track and behold no more overboost(electronically) now my manual boost setting takes over. Now it pulls like a train and feels like I'm going to blow up this motor!!
