Since when have Porsches been great drag racers? I always thought that were for the tracks that have curves. Get some American iron if that is what interests you, but leave the P cars for Le Mans.

Now i have the GT700 from EVO and iam over 600RWHP. If you are ever in Florida we will prove it to you at the Champion Motorsports dyno.

I have 16-24 Hybrid Turbos. They are custom built turbos, and with my software, GT2 ICs, and a custom intake that retails for $3500 I AM making 600 Flywheel HP.
It might be a good idea for you to read what mods I have on my car before you start running your mouth.
BTW, with just the ECU and Exhaust it makes 505 BHP smart guy.

EVERYONE cares about acceleration. I just happen to care about the 1/4 mile. That's why I'm asking.
So, RELAX.

Hi Matt,
I noticed in your signature that you are in Santa Monica. I think it would be great to have you come to the GermanAuto fest and meet with a lot of us who have the EVO kit.
Like in any business, the customer always knows best. Hearing from satisfied/unhappy customers is always the best approach in my opinion.
So I for one will be happy to have you test drive my car to show you that these EVO cars do provide the numbers stated.

Yes Sir, I know Mike aka Simpply very well. I just had lunch with him yesterday. He came over to get to tires mounted. He has K04/K16s in that S4 beast now and is going to dyno tomorrow, he's expecting ~600chp (on 100 octane).
On K04s, he ran a 11.72@119mph at Fontana in 95F and the car weighed a portly 4,000lbs. Since then he's dropped the car to 3,700lbs. and figures to be able to do low 11s on the K04/K16s.
Once he gets everything optimized, I'm going to have him and another Mike work on my S4. My goal is 3,300lbs. at 600+chp, daily driven.

what I am saying is that they are claiming to produce HP numbers that no other Porsche tuner is doing with the same components. I know what is out there, I have done my research, and I do my tuning with a highly respected shop that is making one of the fastest 996TTs around... or at least one of the fastest that had the ***** to compete in the Shootout in April. This is what European Car said about their car.
"The second place car was exactly the opposite. Purists might call it an abomination if it hadn't come from the factory: a Turbo Cabriolet. With well under 1,000 miles on the clock, it rolled into By Design's shop completely stock just 6 days before the event began. With the exception of a small brake-b-que, it surprised us with its speed and never missed a beat. Whether that was because it was so new there hadn't been time for anything to break, or because it was actually done right at the very last minute, we can only guess." A ****ing TTCab beats everyone else except one car!
I know that the shop I am working with has the capabilities and experience to make the some of the fastest Porsche Turbos out there, and the concensus is that 750 bhp, or 800 bhp is not possible with bolt on parts only. Cranking up the boost, to produce a HP spike is not efficient either, and I could give a **** about a car that makes peak HP higher than another, but gets its *** handed to it in a drag race, or track race with the same suspension, rubber, and driver skill.
I know that the top tuners in the Porsche industry are NOT making 750-800 flywheel HP w/o going internal, and they are definately NOT making it with Garret Turbos w/o some kind of water injection system (at least not if they want the motors to last). 9ff, Ruf, Gemballa, and Speed Gallery (where I tune my car) are not making TTs with 750-800 flywheel HP from bolt ons alone, so why would I have any reason to think that EvoMS has the magic touch. They are using the same parts that many other tuners are, with less experience, yet they are making more power? Why didnt Todd's car win the Shootout if it makes 750 HP? Why does RUF's Turbo R, their most bad *** car, make 590bhp and hit 221 mph, yet EvoMS's car making 750 hp can only hit 203 mph... with the 204 mph pic "coming soon." Why did the 9ff car that has a $3500 intake setup on it (custom dynoed intake system that EvoMS does not have) just beat the TurboR in top speed at 234 mph, yet it is making much less than Todd's car claims to make? The answer is: propaganda! How many of you with the GT750 setup have taken your car to your local dyno to get a comparison result?... you saw my 1800 HP dyno?
And lastly, I find it quite amusing that the EvoMS car came in close to dead last in the Shootout, even though their car had the the highest WHP. I guess that goes to show that peak HP doesnt mean **** in the real world. If you want to have a dick measuring constest wtih your dyno graph, great... but to me what matters is the car that is crossing the finish-line FIRST. What matters to me is that my tuning shop promises me 600-700 hp and I get my car back the day that I bring it there, not 5 months later. What matters to me is that I am working with winners, and nothing proves better than proof. How is it that a TTCab, weighing more and having less power, beats a lighter car with more power... not only in a drag race, but on the track event too? Thats a mind ****, huh?

Matt, first of all the car that came 2nd to last was my car. Keep in mind that my car was set up as a street car and not meant to win this event. My car I think was only one of two who actually drove their cars. All the others were flat bedded. In addition, I ran on 19's with street tires, and had a ****ty suspension. Everyone else was running 18's with better gripping tires, and each had a pit crew to do mods. I went as is and drove my car back.
If you talk to Cort, who drove my car, he even stated to me and others that my car had the most juice and would have done much better if not for proper wheels/tires and suspension.
In any case, HP has nothing to do with Track times, or braking. It's all about the wheels/tires and supsension. Put it this way, all cars who ran 19's ended up with the worst times. So coming in 8th had other factors.
So Matt, I have been very polite here thus far and didnt' want to start bashing on you either. But if you continue your immature tones here, I will be happy to meet you in person and discuss our cars.
Like I said before, come to the German Auto Fest in Ventura, meet with us, test drive our cars, and come up with your own conclusion then.
If that doesn't work, enter your car at the shootout.
