1st time at the ¼ mile track with the 996TT

In my experience once you get to 2.3 or 2.4 60' that rule goes out the window. 2.0-2.2 seems to be the best range for trap speed. Because if you're at 2.6 you've spun or bogged badly and lost lots of momentum which will cost you at the end.

But sometimes that spin (once it finally grabs traction) launches the car forward and ends up bumping up MPH by a noticeable amount.
Like I said; it just depends.

Agree with Scott here, I have had bad 60' but higher traps.

Keep me updated on your progress. I'm excited to see what your hybrids do at the track!

It's funny. My friends who are not into cars see the youtube video and all say the same thing. You went all the way to the track to have a race against an infiniti? They think every run is a grudge match.

I can't wait to see what you do on a race mix. I am placing bets that your trap speed should be 3-5 mph higher.
I will, our little K16's don't do so bad do they...lol
