This sounds like the treatment I got from By Design. They sent me a set of rims that didn't fit m TT. The fronts were made for a GT2. When they fixed that they would not balance. So I sent them back (In May). They sent me a set of loaners that were so out of balance that I put my stock rims back on. They also shipped me Perilli P-Zero's instead of the Michilin PS2's I ordered. The whole experiance has sucked all the way around. Scott has tried to help but I think there is a much bigger problem at By Design. Once they get your money they seem to very non responsive. But some of our board sponsers are no better which is why I have put my car back to stock. The whole tuning process has been very disappointing Where are the vendors who honor thier word?

had that kind of experiences many times already with BD...
gave the money, parts not in... actually the lorinser kit i got a year ago... the parts are still missing... but decided to let it go... since the sales i dealt with left already...
not to say that when they install the front bumper, they screwed up my head lamp...the bracket is missing....now the xenon light is aiming way too high and cannot be adjusted... and i have to buy a new set to get that part...
the fitment was also terrible... even the color match...

Actually, Matt at Meridian told me once to call CEC (that is where Meridian sourced the wheels according to Matt) and complain to them !!!!

Lucent has been very good to me. I know that sometimes they are a bit slower than some of you expect but that is only because Arling was for the longest time the ONLY sales guy there. He works more hours than almost anyone I know but they have a lot of business and they were a bit understaffed.

They are like any growing business, and they really do try their best to make their customers happy. So they've brought on some additional, very well qualified people.

Now, Tom and Arling have brought in Simon (HKE46Boy) to do sales as well. You can feel free to contact him and I promise you that he will get it done for you....

Believe me, they have gone well beyond the call of duty for me and many board members here. Once you get to know them, you will realize that their customer service is second to none. Period.

BTW, Lucent has extremely competitive pricing on TechArt....

Matt is a cool dude as he always have been. we have good relationship Meridian & all the guys over there are very cool. i'm sure there is a better way out of this so let's not jump on top of each other first

Wow. We never would have treated you like this.

Any wheel combo purchased from us is mounted with touchless machines, balanced with road-force balancers and shipped by sandwiching the combo between bubble wrap and two layers of cardboard before strapping it all together. If damage occurs during shipping we'll get another wheel out right away and settle the damage later with UPS or FedEx.

I've also had some really bad experiences with BD, but luckly Arling's taking care of me now! He's a straight shooter and I like that. I guess we all want our cars to be finished yesterday without any delay, but I think honesty, service attitude, and of course quality of the work are even more important...and well worth the wait!

As for Lucent ... they are okay and Arling seems like a great guy and all ... but nothing compared to the service I provide my potential clients. I am overall slightly disappointed with all vendors save 1 (Imagine Auto - Stephen Kaspar, who went far beyond the "call of duty").
just a side note Chris, i did email u back when i got the kit in 2 week ago but i didn't hear anything back from u. let me know if u're still interested i've got 1 for u as i told u before.

Arling is a good man, Lucent is a good shop. I love Lucent because of Arling, that means I love Arling.

he sent me all the parts I wanted on time and he didn't even bother about the payment till the day I installed it. I had to call him early in the morning and asked him about my exhaust when I was installing it and he answered the phone and he solved all the problem. He is honest and he has a good service and price, what else are you looking for?

now I want my wheels!
