60-130 Event - Saturday December 13th in Houston, TX!!!!
#76
Right now it says no rain, sunny, 68 degrees, now that is called "PERFECT 60-130 weather"
Rob - Sebastiens car weighs around 3,500 lbs, full weight... It has an 80 mm turbo, but at this point, is only tuned on E85. I think it made right around 900 rwhp on E85 pump gas. Tommy indicated that he was planning to run a 4 and NOT in Sebastien's car, soooooooo, we shall all see what he's bringing...he didn't even tell me!

I need to do that washing the car thing. Got caught in the rain 2 times now...
I won't be on race gas till about 5 miles or so from the track just like we did at the Midnight 1320 event. Too costly to drive from Friendswood to Sealy on race gas only. So that means I won't be playing much on the way out there, plus my car is EXTREMELY loud on the street because of the straight pipes so I'd rather not risk anything.
I just hope I can do a LOT better than a 6.69 since I did that on 19psi.. I'm hoping the car will hold 22-23 (maybe even 24lbs) steady so I can shoot for close to the 5's.
I also heard there might be another car shooting for the 4's if he can get the right tires... Hmmm wonder who that could be? The car should be capable of doing it, as it makes about the same amount of power as Peter says he did when he went his 4.51 and it weighs hundreds of pounds less (I think).

Rob - I know Justin Nenni tuned her on E85 only...AFAIK he is out of the country until next week so I'm fairly sure that he hasn't re-tuned it. I never ran that car b/c I was out of his league at the time...he is now on NEW 3.4L stroker and NEW turbo set-up. As for the weight, yes, a full weight Supra like mine weighs about 3,500 and AFAIK Sebastien's car is a 3,500 lb + car with a heavier IC, heavier turbo kit, cage, etc...
Powell - the weather will be NICE, soooooo, BRING IT!
Lil Powell - I'm rootin' for ya bro! COME ON!

Hey guys/gals, I just got word from John (owner of the track) that he WILL have the lights on in ONE lane during the 60-130 event. In other words if you would like to line up and run a 1/4 mile pass, you will be able to!
See you all on Sat.

Right lane will be wet and for DR's and slicks and this will be the lane for 1/4 mile. Left lane will be prepped and dry and will be 60-130 only. NO change for you Sean, don't worry.

THERE WILL BE NO WATER IN THE LEFT LANE BOX!!!! If you have drag radials or slicks then you can drive in the left lane and swap over into the right lane if you do not want a burnout.
