[QUOTE=MTheory;2277078]1967 Chevy Impala SS. My high school car. My dad bought it new in 1967 for less than $3000.00 Gave it to me when I started driving.
The red line on the tires remind me of my TR6 1975. The Triumph used to come with red line tires.... Good old days...

Oh what memories this has brought up. Back in 1972 I picked up my first car. It was a 1967 Camero RS. I had it painted dark blue, had the engine re-built (327 with 202 heads, Edlebrock high rise, a holly 650 and traction bars). I thought that I was the coolest guy in Southern California. I would spend most of Friday afternoon getting it cleaned up and then would head out to Ventura to cruise Main Street by the beach. The cars just had the sound of awesome power and God, the babes loved them. Thanks for bringing back some great memories. I had to sell it in 1975 so I could get married. I should have kept the Camero and not the wife. Oh well, live and learn. Ha Ha.

My excuse for having the Caravan was to save money for a nice car and not put miles on it. The "nice" car I was saving for was a Black 2001 Mustang GT, so I used the Caravan 4 times a week to go to college and 1 day the Mustang The Caravan had no CD player, the heat and AC did not work and it was ugly as hell, but me and my friends had a lot of fun in her, she was like the party Van.. her name was Sexy by the way..

RiA, Trying to locate a picture, but had a 65 Corvair Monza. It was what I believe GM called Midnight Mist (Kinda a light purple). My Dad "bought" it for me while I was away at college. Cost a $1,000.00 bucks, used. He said I took your 500 hundred out of savings and you owe me 500. He was color blind, so my Mom broke the news to me that it was PURPLE. Drove that thing through two transmissions and three different paintings. Then my Dad bought it back from me for 250 and drove it for another 5 plus years.

No complain about the 8-trk; it was one of the best inventions. Come to think of it, 30+ years ago, non-stop musics, jump between 4 sound tracks, what else can a man ask for.

Wow extremely jealous this was your first car. Absolutely love these.
Mine was a 94 Prelude, parents said I had to have a 4 cylinder for 1 year. I thought it didnt look too bad. Then you can see my list below after that haha.
