Shifter **** : any reasonbly priced alternatives out there ?

All,

Am looking to change my shifter ****, but anywhere I look there seems to be a serious Porsche tax added to these kind of items. I am guessing that the margin on these items must upwards of 90%, pharmaceutical style.
Anybody aware of a suplier with realistic prices ?

While not cheap, I like my techart ****...metal ball. Simple... Dan at Vivid, CEC, and others have it. Not sure on pricing. In this market, you may be able to negotiate.

My **** was bought in the parts section of this site for less than 30% retail. Put up a WTB post and see what you get in your PM box.

My **** is not for sale.

Thing "should" cost 10 dollars...perhaps 25 for a normal profit margin. P car tax for sure.

JB

Totally! What a joke on some of these prices.... I have looked too and got frustrated.

For my Camaro, one of the nicer options out there is a nice solid billet ball made by one of the best aftermarket companies for musclecars and they cost $40.

I've got a CF Porsche **** for sale. It is in great shape with a black leather boot. It says "Turbo S" on the handle.

Here is a pic...

Let me know if you're interested.
