Anyone can help locate a clean 2005 996TT for sale

Hi guys,
As the title says, I am looking to purchase a clean 05 turbo (s). I had located a clean one, but could not agree on the price w/ the dealer.

Anyone w/ info or reference, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
-Arman

Why 2005?

There's ZERO collectibility issue with the cars. They're not really collectible. Assuming you don't want an X50 car, then you are buying EXACTLY the same Turbo Carrera in every year, virtually without exception.

You pay a LARGE premium for the 2005 and it evaporates quickly with use.

SpeedYellow,
I am not sure how you came up w/ collectibility issue. I was interested in 05s because they still carried a warranty (mostly) and somewhat partial to TurboS.

05 Turbo

Anikzad,

I drove this car before it was traded in, very clean, the owner was selling it for 82 k prior to trade in.

Tom,
Thanks for the info. I had located this vehicle on cars.com too. I would say for a two owner car and the mileage, is priced a bit high. For reference, I have located a TurboS convertible with 6700 miles for 78K (one owner). Though the color and the vert is not my cup of tea.

This car is certainly a good deal at 74K or below but not at 80K.

I am almost tempted to buy a slightly used Skyline GT-R and get it over with .

Yes the price is high but I'm sure that they picked up the car from the owner for about 68-70, there is some wiggle room.

The craigslist listing uses the term "ASKING"... that is an overt offer to deal.

Elsewhere here owners have posted that they traded in a 2004 for $48k.

I suspect there is a deal to be made for sure...

PS If I am in the area I can do a driveby for you...

If you are in the market for an 80k sports car, you're in luck:
'05 911 Turbo (although, there are older models; like an '01 w/ 5k miles on the for sale section that you should jump into NOW !) No difference from 01-05 models, they're bulletproof and you really don't need warranty as you're going to mod the heck out of it anyways...
'08 Nissan GT-R (up to 1000 miles)
'08-09 Ford GT500KR (if you have not driven one yet, hold your thoughts).
Best of luck,
ROCK

Glove box, DVD based NAV, Bose system and tiptronic all came in later models, but somehow '01 Guards Red were the fastest ones they built...
