Ultimate Motorwerks STOCK K16 car does 7.92 60-130
I thought I'd make a self gratifying thread about my biggest accomplishment to date Temp was 43F, humidity was 97% with a QNH of 30.17. There is definitely room for improvement...
The only modifications from my previous best of 8.40 was straight pipes, GT2 suspension with corner balance, and a K&N air filter. Another difference was that I didn't have any race gas in the car this time around, only 93 octane. If ya'll need a new air filter, call Dan at Vivid Racing, he has the best ones.
Thanks to Peter and Scott for their help.

that is awesome performance for a stock K16 - pretty much matches a stage 2 997 with VTG's. What is your exact setup? Is this just a flash and straight pipes? Any meth injection or weight reduction mods?

Ultimate Motorwerks 93 octane flash, RWD, UMW LWFW kit, 3" straight pipes w/300 cell cats, K&N air filter, and the car weighs 3188 empty.
What HP are the Stage 2 997's putting down to the wheels? What's their typical weight?

You deserve the self gratifying post Ryan. That is very fast with the stock 16's. What's next? Bigger turbos?

Sean, that 5.8 will be a walk in the park after seeing the 6.1 in the wind the other day, not to mention the cooler weather. Let me know when your done with it I'd like to make some 30 second hits in the Cobra. (lol yeah right)

Without a lift, two jackstands and a floorjack, it took about 8 hours. The dremeling and cutting and chiseling of the bearing races was the part that took the longest. I'd say you can remove everything but the two front halfshafts in an hour, and then good luck trying to get the bearing races off. JoeTwinT helped me out a lot with some good advice.
