Yeah I haven't seen another one on a 996 turboThe more I look at these pics the more I think we need to have our heads checked.
Oh you can rest assured I will be rolling past the projects on Sunday morn on my way to Cars and Coffee with that chute hanging off the back.
P.S."Big Al" is the man.Looks sweet under the bumper cover.
EVOMS "Big Al" custom built this today for Joes car. It was designed to be a true bolt on. When removed, the license plate gets installed and covers up the hole. I am not sure but I think this may be a first for a 996TT.[
Joe, you have to roll around Brooklyn with it installed.

Everytime I go to get my head checked, they just look at me, laugh and tell me that there is no hope. What are they trying to tell me?
Ahh what do they know anyway. I think I should order a chute tonight as well

Thanks Art,Its gonna be fun testing that chute out at the mile,God knows we need it.Are you getting one too now?

It will be a great event for sure. Not enough time to look into it LOL. After we dyno we still have to work on suspension and other stuff. I have to take my chances of driving her at different boosts and test it out. I am going to wear two diapers though Good work Joe, Todd has definately done an amazing job as always. I've always admired his work.

Same here,we still have some work to do,and some things to test out.I am with you though about working up to speed because i will be doing the same thing.I haven't run a car with a chute and will need to check its operation and make sure it tracks straight and everything is cool before going all out. Will probably spend the first day working up to speed and getting used to the chute and the car again. It is making some 200 whp more above 7200 rpm than it was in March so it will be like driving a totally different car.I think I am going to go to the store and get an extra pair of diapers.
