Evolution of my 996 Turbo

My car was at an authorized EVOMs dealer which was named Imagine Auto. It was there for about 12 months?? I will not get into that out of respect for Todd Z. Total time at Protomotive, I think was three days?? Total time to build my 3.8 back in 2007 I think was 4 to 5 months? It has been in and out of the shop for various reasons from blowing clutches, transmission to my wreck a few days before Supra Nats.

I run my car almost weekly and you can have all the verified records you like but I think it was Todd Z who ran your car to 231. Whatever, if you want to race me from a roll then lets just do it! I will be in Goliad but as you are aware I am wait listed.

I know all to well about Kaspar! Either way things are not always predictable and projects take longer than expected at time. For example, I was going to have the headgasket replaced on one side of my motor and switch out the arps for the 10mm evoms head studs....now my car is headed towards a GTXXXX.
The same goes for Joe...his car went in for A but now as time as gone on he's a Z.
Run your car.....and lets see what she does....good luck to everyone at the mile

Yes, I was bitten by the Steal'n Cashpar, thankfully those years are past me now. As far as Joe's build, I think it is spot on! If I did not have my build I would probably be doing the 4.0 kit from EVOMs. They have made incredible progress!

Guys I really want to say one thing here... and I don't say this lightly but one of the most bizarre things about Joe's car (other than the stupid power...) is that she fires right up, idles great and honestly runs great. The way it drove wasn't all that different from factory. Louder yes. Lumpier idle. A bit. Kind of a slightly heavier GT2 clutch and you're still in a 996TT. The tuning is great. Todd spends so much time doing drivability stuff. Creating/testing/tying/proofing files just to make the car more appealing to drive is something that is so overlooked and was in the past. Not anymore.
2 Years,I enjoyed it in NY as a GT800 the summer of 07' Alittle more than that but I understand what you are saying.Rob think of this for a moment,in those 2 1/4 miles that you say I have driven it I still managed to put up more verified numbers than you. Rob ,my car is most definetely a street car.my car has been at Evoms so long because we are pushing the envelope and I don't mind keeping it there because i know it is in good hands.Trust me when I tell you that Evoms does not spend every day working and developing my car.Far from it.Fortunately for me I have three other supercars that occupy my time and I can use the vacation time in AZ enjoying my car.It could have been home long ago if I wished.Whatever, just run the car and everything will take care of itself.I hope to see you in Texas.

well, I will fart in their general direction (mainly because I am jealous). Should be an interesting time at the mile.
