Has your local Porsche dealer ever refused to rob you?
mine just did
There's this Porsche dealer (this is Tokyo btw) that I go for oil change once in a while. Usually I use an indy but I just want to put a Porsche stamp on the maintenance record every now and then to help with resale value (plus the receptionist is uberhot ).
Anyway today when I went there, they told me that (in the usual nice Japanese polite tone) 'sir, we cant work on your car because your exhaust is too loud' wtf They claim that it's a new rule from Porsche Japan that they cannot work on cars with 'illegal modifications'.
So my bros in the States, has this ever happened to you? Or is this some fxcked up policy made up by Porsche Japan (just like how they refused to use authentic Porsche parts that I brought to them)?

Did you at least number close the hottie? Ironically, Momentum where I go to order parts has an uberhottie (she is asian....is uberhot appropriate?) working there as well.
I made one stop to get wiper blades, and another to get a bumper plug.

Yes.
My PCM1 computer died. Not covered by my warranty. 2400 or 3400 in parts and labor. Dealer sent me to an indy stereo shop and I was able to get (installed) a top of the line system for under half....no Porsche tax at the indy stereo shop AND they had a lot of 996 experience.

I continue to be amased by the auto industry (and Porsche)....I wonder if they would take the $200 to install the new nav disc in your radio (yes someone was quoted that and $260 more for the discs) with all that exhaust noise. LOL, and yes wtf? On a lighter note...I have a very good relationship with my local P-dealer...treat me fairly...wash my car, etc.
