Tt 997 trip beat me ¡¡¡¡¡¡

Many people have the wrong impression that Tips are slower than 6speed; it is only true for 120+ mph. Tips are very fast from stand still and rolling start.
According to your mod list, it is about the same as some people called Stage-2; the performance of a Stage-2 996TT is about the same as a stock 997TT. I'm not surprise a stock 997TT beated yours especially with a shift error. With the exception of high hp mod 996TT (like Markski's), I think an equally mod 997TT beats a 996TT.

I have a feeling its not a good program and or you may have boost leaks... DVs failing, exhaust leak, etcs... it could be anything...
pressure test the car from the turbos....
I woudl be skeptical when a company in Germany sends the ecu to Guatemala to install it and back to you... something doesnt add up....

Barring some kind of mechanical issue (such as the diverter valves, etc.) it sounds like the shifting was to blame, and we know that the 997TT had a tiptronic and was thus slightly quicker and dummy proof during the race. I am sure if your 996TT is running right that you'll take him when you hit your shifts properly. Good luck in the rematch!

The OP mentioned he had K24s. Is that still considered stage 2? I thought tuned K24 cars put out in the 550-600hp range with almost identical torque which is a fair bit more than a stock 997TT. I figure with this differential even a small hiccup in shifting shouldn't lose a race.

that sounds right and it is more fuel limited than anything else. The new turbos on the 997tt are a slightly smaller version of the GT2's and are very efficient with lots of low end torque. He's probably got a better torque and power curve that doesn't peak as high and that coupled with the faster tip shifting that does not allow boost to drop off, gives him a jump on every shift.

Hi markski, how can i test the car pressure of the turbos??.At this moment i have the car at the dealer because the "check engine" lite up.I run the car the 25' and the check engine lited on the 27'.I turned the car this morning maybe they find somethig out.Because if it has a leak anywhere the computer should diagnose it,right?

I almost never see 1.2 bar. When the car was stock it ussualy boost 0.7 bar, sometimes 0.8-0.9 0r somethig like that. When i modded the car ussualy runs 0.9,sometimes 1.0 and very rare 1.1 bar.almost NEVER see 1.2 bars ,only spiks at the right moment when changing gear thats between 1.2-1.4 bar

TT my car has K24 turbos, fabspeed muffler and sport cats, evo diverters and the ecu mapped.
I am comfused,i assumed i could take that car even with the driving mistake, but before the mistake at the end of 3' the 997 was at my side. After the mistake he was 0ne car ahead.

The boost never drops when a tip shifts...it is idiot proof (I know 'cause I have one)once the boost is up. I also believe you may well be closer to 500hp than 550hp, and thats when things are functioning properly. Let us know about the engine light, and what they find.
