Is it okay to sand blast the emblems, more specifically the front badge? I want to get all the paint and laquer that are in the emblem out, so when I spray paint the emblem the details of the badge show up better.

BTW, the flat black Camo paint has held up well so far.

is there a template for lining up the placement of the emblem?

It looks like horizontally centered using the 3rd brake light and vertically about an inch up from the base of the lid.

I'm thinking I might make a template using my old decklid before removing the emblem lol. I picture a large sheet of paper with a cut out around the 3rd brake light (for alignment) and a rectangle around the emblem LOL... meh... OCD.

LOL...that is exactly how I'm going to do it (with posterboard, and make a fold at the bottom to overlap the bottom edge of the decklid...to make sure the vertical alignment is correct...I'm o.c.d. too).

Forget the emblem... get the cf frame

The 'Porsche' frame is photographed on a Cayman S. Too bad I didn't take a shot from a distance... looks awesome!

What do you guys think?
