Top Conditioner

Top Conditioner
I have an '05 Cab. with folding creases in the top fabric which don't seem to be getting any better. This is bothering me. Its an ex- Nevada car and I'm guessing the top was folded all the time. Does anyone know if the top conditioner that are advertised would help? When the fabric is wet you can barely notice the creases. If conditioners would keep that wet look, that would be a huge plus.
Thanks, Bob

Thanks, I'll try Raggtop.
Fastlane: Yes, the top has some folds which have worn to the point where I doubt they will ever disappear as they are borderline tears. Also there is a small gooey deposit supposedly from frame hinge lubricant which I have seen before on a few Cabs. I almost walked on the car because of the top but I understand I can get a re-fit for about $2K which I figure is not the end of the world. There's not a lot of hot sunshine in these here parts to heat stretch the fabric. The thing that bugs me is the creases are the only thing shouting 'used car'
On another note , because I've been lurking around this site far too long, I just ordered a CF wing and a 60 mm exhaust from Speedtech. Next, beacause its a stock "S" I'm thinking some Al interior bling, a flash and maybe something better that the TA? wheels ala HRE.

The top will only last about 5 years in an extremely hot climate (AZ, FL, GA). I had a regular C2 convertible prior to my Turbo and the top actually tore between the window and the canvas. I bought a GAHH top for about 1,600$, but it cost me another 900$ to have it installed.
Regarding your mods, check out my signature and attached pic. You seem to be going my route.

I'm looking forward to getting a flash and DV's but haven't decided who to go with yet. The thing holding me back is that I have only driven this thing maybe 500 miles so far and I would really like to know the engine is completely 100% before I blow 2.5 years of engine warranty out the window. We're in dog sled mode here now so its going to be a while.
Yves, those HRE 19's look amazing. My wheels look chunky and hide the yellow calipers, although the dealer says they are very light compared to some.

Raggtop is the best. When you spray on the protectant, spend 5 minutes and mask the car off with the 3M blue painters tape that has the plastic sheets attached. It will save you a lot of cleanup time.
