boost problem

I have kkk k16 with FVD ECU, but i cant seem to get above .9 bar of boost. this setup should make 1.0 to 1.1 bar. I have changed my diverter valves, but that didnt help. does anyone have any suggestions ???

First check for codes with PST2, PIWIS or Durametric. It is possible that .9 is the top for your tune...why do you say it should be 1.0-1.1? It is also possible you have leaks.

FWIW, I had the FVD stage 2 software with exhaust for a few years and it only developed .9, just like yours. I had an occasional 1.0 spike for an instant - that's it. It was not until I upgraded to FVD stage 4 software and larger turbos that I saw 1.2-1.3 bar.

911stripper,

Out of curiosity how long has it been since your plugs were changed?

Please call Mark on our technical support staff. 800-274-2220 Ext. 27. We will be glad to assist you with the problem.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Try a mechanical guage first to see what you are REALLY getting. Then go from there.
