2) When did you buy it?
3) Year and mileage?
4) What was the original price, and how much did you bargain down?
5) Did it come with the warranty, or did you buy one, or neither?
I feel like I got a great deal on mine! Still very happy with it. 2004 996TT Cabriolet. Midnight Metallic Blue with natural brown leather, leather dash, color key gauges.
1) $58,000
2)July 2009
3) 2004 - 4250 miles, had not even had its 5k service when I purchased it.
4) Wanted 65k got him down 7k.
5)I bought an extended warranty and went through the Porsche dealer for my financing too. Had the 5k service as taken care of as part of the purchase deal. Also had it Certified from the dealer.
Just recently took off my 18" turbo twists and put on some 997 five stars I purchased from another board member. They look great, and if anyone is looking for some 18" twists have a set with tires with only 5k on them.

Well I overpaid compared to all these numbers. Compared to what I was shopping for within a reasonable distance and its condition, it was the best I could find at the time. O'well who cares.
1. $54,000

3. 2003 - 20,000 miles
4. $57,000
5. 3 year warranty.
It is extremely clean with a nice list of options - full leather, nav, aluminum accents, carbon wheel and shifter etc.
I guess someone has to help bring these prices up.

Just finished negotiating:
1. Negotiated to $49,500, dealer doc fee waived ($300)
2. April 2010
3. 2002 - 28,930 miles ; black with tip
4. Asking $54,900 + $300 dealer doc fee
5. 2 years 3 months remaining comprehensive third party warranty included. (Offer price was $47.5k without warranty, but for $2k extra, I couldn't say no to peace of mind).
I was really trying to get to $48k with the warranty, but $47.5k without it or $49.5k with it was the best I could do, and this car is really clean and looks like new. It was also in a state I wanted to vacation in this summer anyway, so a one way plan ticket with dealer picking me up at airport to get the car worked out nicely. Now I just have to be patient until May 17 when I can fly down and pick it up
