ride height

I set the front at full soft and the rear at 2 from the soft. Rides and fees great. I'm not sure if I have the car dropped enough? What is your opinion? Also, I noticed that on my 01 turbo that the rear coilovers seem to stick up in the rear about two inches higher than factory. How do you cover them with the carpet with them sticking up?

Car looks great for height! You could go lower, but that is dependent on your roads and driving conditions.

I like it lots. Ride is lower but should still clear bad road areas.

My car is lowered approx 15cm from stock, though not too low, as I still drive it most days. I started with dampening settings at mid level front and rear and loved the ride on highways, though the front bounce on rough roads was a bit too much...and my wife and her DD's didn't like it either. I set them to 3 from full soft in front and 5 from full soft in the rear, and the ride was much worse, with still a lot of bouncing but none of the performance increase from the stiffer ride. A lot of creaking in the cabin as well, as if front and rear of the car were perpetually out of sync. At full soft, it's still a lot stiffer than stock, but doesn't punish you over potholes or other road hazards. I'll experiment with 1-2 clicks stiffer from full stock, and stop when my wife risks putting her eyes out. Good luck.
you mean like this?

Full soft worked well for me on the street with 8/12kg springs. You didn't mention your spring rate, as best I recall. A reasonable ride height for street is 120mm front and 140mm rear.

Dan,

I do and will e-mail a few pics to you. The pics, however, are not at the ride height I mentioned in this thread. It is much lower now. It works fine when I drive it on the street bc I take the spoiler and splitter off the front and that gives me plenty of clearance.

I'm not sure of the spring rate. I'll have to check with Dan at Vivid to see what spring rate he sent me. Thanks for the info on the clearance height Al. I have not had any problems at my current height so I think I'll try dropping down a little further.

As for Jic, aren't the spring rates for whatever vehicle the coilovers are made for?

I don't know about other vehicles but for Porsche there is a choice in spring rates. 7/10, 8/12, and I have read of a 9/12. I think there is a higher set like 10/14 but I'm not sure.
