What mods do i need to make a k16 car as fast as possible?

K24 is the stock turbo on the GT2, X50, and S models and is "bolt-on" to any 996TT. Obviously, you need a little tuning for that. Many vendors have these turbos and the hybrid variant. maybe they will chime in for cost?

The best way to make a K16 car faster is to get rid of the K16s!!
No seriously, K16/16G's have proven to be a very cost effective and proven upgrade. You can get to 500whp, but it's still a K16 though, so don't expect to be able to keep up with a K24 car on the big end. Don't forget to upgrade wastegates too, if you haven't already.

I'm sure Tym has you set up just right. But the comment I was referencing was to a claim that the K16/16G is tried and true. I should have been more specific above.
I'm not getting down on the 16G, I just have been anxiously awaiting numbers from them for what seems like a year now.

If it helps any. I ran two runs at the 1/4 mile track. I'm by no means a drag racer but managed to just get into the elevens and to trap 124 on 93 octane, AWD, full weight. I'm sure a talented driver could do better.
I also ran against a K24/18g car with injectors. Both on 93 octane, from 40 to ~140 I would jump out ahead and then he would walk a steady 3 car lengths on me by the time we shut down.
Your mileage may vary.
I don't have a driftbox, so I haven't collected any 60-130 data. Don't really care about it too much.
I've driven a full K24/18g car with fueling back to back with mine and for what I've spent, I'd take my car all day long. The torque experience at full boost is very similar from the seat of the pants.
If you search a bit, you'll find full posts on my dyno and drag experience.

I would recommend that you do what Txgold did and get a tune for the stocker K16's plus do other stuff. The car will be plenty fast and you can learn all about tunes and aftermarket turbos while you have the car in basically stock form. Better than spending money on turbos that you may not have wanted or finding out that you should have gone to even bigger turbos.
Txgold's car is fast enough that you will enjoy it a lot and not have to mess with doing to much to the car. Here is a thread which was about the stocker K16's.
