Not feeling the power out of my 24/18g's. HELP!
I'm a little frustrated here. I'd like to hear from those of you running 24/18g's, especially from Tiptronic owners. What are your 60-130 times? I feel that I should be much quicker than low 8's. I'm using 93 octane with a Softronic tune. I'm hitting 1.3 bar. I've got 60lb injectors, stock maf, stock 3.8 fpr, headers, miltek exhaust. I've data logged engine load numbers, lambda bank 1, blah blah. The AFR looks fine.
Your thoughs. Thanks guys.

An EBC seems to control the boost better than the stock boost control sytem, but this depends on your tuner. A related and more fundamental question...do you have stock or upgraded wastegates? Stock WGs will hurt your power at these power levels.
You are asking the right question though...I don't know what other 24/18G tiptronics are either. But...low 8s are nothing to sneeze at. IIRC stock 6speed 996TT is 12s.

Todd,
There is at least .6 seconds difference, or 3 car lengths difference between a 6 speed and a tip. I know this from running against both in real world conditions. I was shocked at the difference. Although I think that your car should be faster than it is a tip needs about 80-90 more ponies to run even w/ a manual.

As per our discussion , Todd if you get a proper hands on dyno tune and an EBC with the abilty to run some race gas your car should be down to close to the mid sevens. That is certainly a fast car by most standards.

Nope. My car dynoed 336awhp stock (415 fwhp-stock) 415x.81=336. Rear wheel drive is closer to 12%-15%. Typically an RWD car should make 25-40 more hp.
