If you get a tune, highflow exhaust and run some race gas with every tank (which everyone should do anyway), you will be amazed at how much faster the car will be. It will go from running mid 12's in the quarter to mid to high 11's. The investment is minimal at that point.

I believe you are forgetting something. Alexander's car produced 1,139 hp @ 35 psi and that is not the most I've seen. If you don't want to believe me ask Todd @ Protomotive.

I'm not taking anything away from Robb car as it is truly fast. Most members of this forum are not aware of some of the most powerful 996 motors out there.

I was only joking about the 8 sec run! My car WILL never be run for the quarter mile. I have invested to much money to break her. I will leave that up to Alex, Marski and Joe.

oh who knows maybe the 900 ft-lbs of torque at the point where you would drop the clutch Not to many drivetrain components can survive that more than a few times

Rob's car will be fine running the 1/4 as long as he has a decent set of axles,a clutch up to the task,and a good driver.Put the wrong driver behind the wheel of any car and it will break.Rob should just ease her out of the hole to see how she traps......I bet its good
