MBailey - I cannot confirm that. 2 different cars, 1 running RWD and 1 running AWD. 1 has 93 oct and 1 has 91 octane. Also 2 different types of dynos.

I appreciate your candor Dan.

Iam a little confused now, however. Was the 24/18g car not run on your dyno but the GT610 was run on your Mustang dyno?
Iam I assuming correctly that the GT610 car was running on 91 octane fuel?

See the dyno sheet in the 1st post, it is a 2wd dyno somewhere in GA. That car was on 93octane. The "610" kit was on my AWD Mustang Dyno running 91 octane.

The first chart posted from Georgia appears to be a Dynojet graph which will read higher than a Mustang dyno.

Will read higher then a mustang depending on what the Mustang Dyno parasitic multiplier is set to. On the Mustang you can change this to "read higher" like a dyno jet. This is why dynos are lame benchmarks and the 60-130mph is so important.

Really? That won't do for me. I want mid 500's at least. You're saying that they are good to 700 crank HP right. That only translates to a "sneaky" 525whp on race gas? What? What am I missing? I'm loosing that much through the tranny?

Oh those pesky, power-robbing automatics...

Has anyone dyno'd a stock Tip before the 18G, so we would know the % DL loss of a Tip? 19-20% on a stick. Whats a Tip? 22-24%? More?

If you want more power, build your motor and run more boost. 530awhp is good. On my Mustang dyno for AWD I factor about a 20-25% drivetrain loss. A stock 6spd will make 340awhp for us. Running race gas, 1.5bar of boost, and with my GT2860rs turbos and tial 44mm wastegates most I could get on the motor before it could have blown was 579awhp. I think there is to much hype about "numbers" from dyno PEAK numbers. If your car stock dynoed at 330 and now you are running 500. You basically picked up almost 200hp to the wheels for $6K. Not bad!

Here is a tiptronic running the GT2860s from our 650 Kit...

Is it that much % loss on a stick?

We just dynoed 2 cars bone stock except the RWD convertion and didnt lose more than 10% . Both on 2 different dyno jets and make similar power. One with 11k miles and the other with 45K miles, both stick.

Has anyone else dyno their cars stock? AWD or RWD? Stick or Tip? And what dyno?
Thanks

HI Dan,
What would the 18G make on the stick on pump and race? RWD or AWD? And what dyno?
Thanks for all the data
