That car doesn't seem to launch very hard...don't know if any of them were using a launch control, but the automatic-tranny-equipped Benzes on slicks were really, really leaving hard.
If Art's Porsche could get traction, that car would run a half second quicker...1st gear is a waste, 2nd gear requires a short shift to third...like many modded Porsches, that thing is limited only by traction at this point. It was fun to watch him run.

The quickest was running 12.2's, IIRC. I don't think any of them touched the 11's.

Thanks, it's just that I'm having a friendly argument with my best friend and BMW maniac. He told me when I got my GT2 that I should have gotten an M5, because it's "just as fast." Ha Ha!

oh, and as soon as you use launch control the warranty is void. I am sure they will loose that lawsuit. Can't put a button on a car and tell me not to use it. That is like laying in bed with a naked supermodel an entire night and not being able to...

It was a great time out threre for sure. My hat is off to all the MB's out there, I was impressed as hell. It is important for everyone to know their goals and the steps to reach it, that is the dream we live for. Congrats to everyone being out there. It was a very safe event.
