Yellowbmr:I seem to be a minority having problems with the tires, hopefully you will have a better experience.

intensive research was done that made u choose the tires. if u still like the tire then trust ur own experience not others. i have no problem with mine so far.

I have 3500 miles and not noticed any problems. The roads during my commute are so F-ed up right now with insane construction that I barely get over 40 MPH anyway. Evan, where did the bubbles appear? On the inside? I enspect my tires every weekend and have not had any problems thankfully!

Coming from driving suburbans down in Texas for most of my life - tire noise was always accepted and plainly ignored. I bought a 986S summer of '03 that had Pirelli PZreros on it - good quiet tire. Then I bought an "03 996 9 mos later that had 5K miles on it. One of the first things I noticed on my drive home was how LOUD the tires were - and I am not one to generally notice tire noise. You guessed it - Pilot Sport 2's were sitting on the wheels. Not sure what my next set will be as time is drawing nigh but I am happy with the tire except for the noise.
Evan - what are you going to try next?????

Noise aside, are the PS2s superior to the PZeros. Just put new PZeros on mine. Mistake?

I didn't have a chance to try the pzero on the track. But on freeway onramps, I'd say the ps2 definitely feels grippier than the pzero. The ps2 also break away in a more controlled fashion to me. It'll step out 2 inches then settles. Very confidence inspiring to me.
