I'm in California. Can a cop give you a fix-it for a non-amber bulb?

They can give you a ticket if your blinker does not blink orange I believe.

a couple of real quick questions as I am about to buy these.

1) when driving with the headlights on, is that bulb illuminated at all? or only when the signal is activated? Some cars have the turn signal bulb lit (but in a dim setting) then flashes brighter when the turn signal is activated.

2) do the stock rear signals flash red or amber? I was always under the impression they were amber.

Exclusive,

The bulb is only illuminated when the turn signal is activated.

The stock rear turn signals are orange.

Cool. What was the reasoning for switching the rear tail signal color to red?

I wanted to try something different. The red is very faint though. I'm going to be switching them out

Can somebody post a link to the exact ebay bulbs that were purchased? I'd like to grab a set (or two) and want to get the right ones... Is there any chrome/red rear blinker out there that will actually show up red and work well? My tails are smoked but I still prefer the red over amber if possible...

Thanks!
