I think more important than the cold start up exhaust sound is what it sounds like inside the cabin. You should try to get a ride in some cars...and have them drive through some tunnels.

I was thinking the same thing earlier, maybe my dad and I will get that opportunity at one of the meets justinmm2 referred to earlier.
