Discounts on tt cab?

With autumn approaching (well, here now) and '05's arriving on dealer lots, what sort of discount would you guys expect to get on an '04 tt cab.

There are two cars of interest: a lightly optioned seal/black/black ($195) and a more loaded polar/metro/metro ($202).

Dealer is suggesting a $20k discount on either.

Reasonable?

Sadly, that's almost true. It's $158.4 and $153 with about $15.5 discount offered.

Both of these cars would appear to be X-50's, unless they are loaded up with carbon fiber or the like. A $15K discount is not enough, for two reasons. First, buy a Turbo S and get ceramic brakes thrown in for less money. Secondly, '04's and '05's, optioned to this price, you should be able to get a little better than $15k discount.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but the $US Dollar is on the skids right now.

It's dropped 6% in the past year, and 20% over the past 2 years relative to the $CDN Dollar.

The $20K discount is very good. I got my Turbo Cab in July for $195,000 with only a $3,000 discount.

Arctic Silver
Carbon Package Small
Carbon Shifter/E-Brake
Heated Front Seats
CD Changer
Black Mats
Painted Rear Console
Sport Seats
Crested Headrests
Stainless Steel Exhaust Pipes

Compare that with what you're getting and the price and I'm sure yours will be cheaper!
