I like the all blacked out look. So much more sinister. If you're gonna go with a non-black lip, I would say go brushed vs polished.

Yeah, I like the "Darth Vader" look too (see below), but have become partial to the polished lip...

I have to agree with flash. The black/polished lip is something you see everyday but the black/black stands out more even though it's more subtle. I personally would go with the black/black although I did just pick up some black/polished wheels myself

I think the polished lip shows off the wheel more. The all black wheel is to much on a black car. I guess its all a matter of opinion though.

To me, it is the new look all the way! All black HREs looks not much different than all black OEM. Expensive wheels should look somewhat elegant and can be spotted from a block away. The new look rules!

I like the polished look. I just put a set of all black wheels on my Audi R8 and hated them. It made the wheel look smaller, just not my cup of tea. I love your new ones.
