I dont hear of this in the porsche turbo world but are pulley reductions ever used to help lower the belt rpm ? also, some national race groups are now allowing a/c in the cars, with all this extra power have you thought of leaving the a/c ?

That's advertising, if you look at the data, the blue dot, which is the static version of the wing, loses the most time on the slowest portion of the track at low 40's mph where the grip is primarily mechanical not aero. The static wing also seems to brake the best as well. I simply don't buy a center plate being worth 1 second.
There is no doubt that movable aero devices can provide advantages, but space travel and racing are two different things. And in F1the aero devices are not constantly moving, they are only adjustable to various static positions to help increase downforce when you need to overtake because of the aero push disruption from the cars ahead. This was done to help passing, not to increase speeds.
You also limit the ability for contoured shapes in the wing which also improve air flow.
I'm not saying it doesn't work, but for the more detailed, that will not suffice. Good to know that people are using them and will eventually compare the two. Heck, may be the easiest on Porsches, just swap decklids and run it back to back. I look forward to hearing some real world results.
Also, for $3900 - $7200, it's a substantial chunk of change to buy without some real investigation as to the advantages.

I'd be interested in reviewing the development and test data from this device... I'd also be interested in knowing how reactive the device is and how it measures pressure.
Tom, I'll be in your shoes in a few weeks and fully expect to be calling it an early day a few times while shaking down my track car...
