Reseating the fuel lid actuator / lock mechanism
I hope one of you might know how I can go about securing my fuel lid actuator to the hole in the car. My fuel lid does not lock when the car locks, but the actuator itself functions properly. That is, when I lock or unlock the car, the long metal spike shoots out or retracts from the actuator, which would normally secure the lid. Instead, my actuator is not secured to the car; it just kind of dangles there, aimlessly shooting and retracting into space.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't completely understand. Is the actuator loose in it's mounting, or is the flap either not closing properly, be not closing enough or too much. To access the actuator I believe it's through the wheel well.

Woohoo thanks! Seems I need a T20 driver and something to remove the wheel bolts.
If the actuator feels loose could it be something as simple as the T20 bolts aren't in place? It appears to function. I guess at worst it costs about $50 in parts for replacement everything. Probably way cheaper to fix this one myself.

Actually, upon a second inspection, all it seems I need is the guide bushing (PN 997-624-505-00-M100 at Pelican) for 75 cents. From what I can see, it appears to click in to the hole in the body. Anyone know for sure?
