Directed towards: NJ-GT and how he got 335s on the back of the GT3 narrow body...


How did you get 335s on a narrow body? I have a 2001 C4 NB and am trying to figure out how to put wider tires on. Currently have 275. In the process of trying to fit 305s...but I cant even imagine how you got 335s on it..no rubbing? what mods were needed? thanks

I'm running 245 in front and 305 in the back. I can't imagine how you run wider. I am sitting pretty low though so that may be why.

Good stuff - fun to see what people are running.

I am curious what size max will fit on the standard S or X50 Rim. Is 315 and 235 the limit?

305/30/19 on 2001 C4 NB...no mods except max negative camber on stock setup. No rubbing...at least not since installing it this morning.

315's on 20"X12" HRE's, No rubbing after I massaged the plastic wheel liners. I will probably step it up one size at the next replacement.

Incidentally, I have 245s in the front, and there is a DEFINITE need for a wider tire. I will be going with 265s on those as well.
