I saw this car when mine was getting tuned and I was in awe. I want your wheels reallllly bad lol. Good luck with everything, and your car is definitely in good hands.

What is recommended as an alternative to the K24/18Gs? I heard the 3076s would be pushing the limits of the factory rods at that power level?

We need some dyno graph comparisons between these and the 24/18G turbos!

the gt28's are capable of producing a bit more power than the K24/18g's

The 24/18g's are more like a 2871R, I'm just scared the 30's tial offers won't have the same power band as the 24/18's guess time will tell.

What 30's are you using meaning back wheel size? 56.5 or 60mm?

Chris Green

I disagree, and this has not been the results of all
of the 60-130 and 1/4 mile times seeing.

28s do spool quick but die on top

Has anyone posted 60-130's of their GT28 setup? I'd be curious to see. The fastest 60-130 for a 18G I've seen is Chris Green at 6.08?

You are referring to the old k16 based gt28's that many cars are currently running.

The new Tial Alpha bolt on 28rs's with the cast stainless steal exhaust housings are a COMPLETELY different animal.

@ TialSport or Tony,

What type of powerband is expected with these new 28rs turbos then?

I would be very interested in seeing a comparison of these new 28's to 24/18's....the Garretts are a better overall quality turbo (and easy to work on/replace the cartridge...all Garretts come w/ a replacement guarantee) but like Marty I want to see proof that they will outflow the 24/18s in the real world.

The new Tial Alpha bolt on 28rs's with the cast stainless steal exhaust housings or whichever one will outflow 24/18s. My GT 3076's out flow 24/18s, but not enough to convince me that any 28's will. Of course I could be wrong so I am open to enlightenment.
