Well for one thing the x50 pacakage would be a big waste of money for you now - the only thing RUf may use is your k24 turbos and to have paid $17k for k24's seems like a dammmm shame - There are a few guys floating around here who have done a full RUF conversion like Sean in New Jersey and have nothing but smiles and great results - keep us posted

Yes...I do. Great overall package. Really great driveability...like if the factory made a 550 HP version. Also, truly amazing customer service. For example, Ruf has a tech. from Germany coming to Seattle to check out a couple of things with my car this coming Tuesday.

Ruf

Ruf are awesome.

I have the 550bhp package on my GT2. It's like driving a stock car in terms of reliability, but much faster, totally as if Porsche built it but better!

They also have amazing customer service, as John said. My car went down on power with a problem after I'd had it a few weeks, so they flew a mechanic to England just to check it over. When he couldn't fix it, he drove the car back to Ruf in Germany, they took the engine out and fixed the problem (ecu/boost), re-installed the engine and delivered it back to me in England. Total cost to me - ZERO

You simply cannot go wrong by choosing Ruf.

I believe it will run you about 25-26k Euro. Anyone? You may also want to check out the Evo Stage IV GT.

$5000 for suspension upgrade - is that with the new Ohlins or the previous Bilsteins?

550hp, is that at the wheels or at the crank, anybody dyno? i heard that RUF is conservative in their ratings. i always thought there was a 520 and 590 package, but haven't heard of 550 until now. i heard that the RUF is the utmost quality and service, so you are getting a complete and supported full package. that said, the tuners such as EVO and Imagine have great success on the boards, and from stories i've herad are very good service as well.

If they are charging that for a suspension, then it must be the Ohlins version as that is way more than the price for the PSS-9 setup as I recall.

550 HP is at the crank...however, most feel that it is really closer to 600 HP at the crank. There are 520, 550 and 590 packages. The first two can be done stateside by a German Ruf tech that they fly in to your location. The 590 package can only be done in Germany.

sorry for hijacking the thread a bit but...

how much is the RUF RTurbo front bumper (not just lip)? does anybody have any pictures? the one on the Nardo car is incredible, and the modular wheels flow perfectly.
