On the right is a Pankl titanium rod.
Here is a Pauter titanium rod
I would not use the Ruf titanium rod in a motor producing over 600 hp. I believe they would take more, but not on a continuous basis.
The problem with all titanium steel rods is they take regular inspection in that you need to consistently, on a scheduled basis, break the motor down and check the rods for cracks and stretching.

Rods did not make it in yesterday. Vendors promise the parts would be in but there is always those things that make you go hmmmmmm.....getting close though fellas, very very close.....

My car is doing well, got the transmission back from G box and having it reinstalled. I am also installing larger fuel injectors at the same time. I will have the car retune when Todd K gets back from his vacation.

Glad to hear Rob. What happened to tranny? Never heard if something happened. Hope all is ok. What injectors did you have last time?

Did you go with the wider 28 mm gears like the RSR's use?

Chad will have the first Big Block 996TT. Everytime a cylinder fires the car will bounce.

We rebuild gears 1 through 3. I am not certain what gears and synch were used? I asked G box to build something strong and I left it up to them to do the rest. Additionaly, my clutch was damaged in the accident thus I was forced to replaced it. As far as my injectors, last time I had it dynoed we ran out of injector thus it made since to change out the injectors. Todd thinks this new combo will be good for an additional 150 rwhp?? Who knows?? Yes, I am still using the same heads, head studs and 3.8 kit from two years ago. There was no damage to the motor. I have upgraded the exhaust, ICs, Y pipe and a few more goodies.
