Yo, what up? Just got home from BBi. Me and the boys will be on a flight tomorrow. VR just picked up the cars with a trailor today and we will all meet him in TX. I hear that the hold up was not the motor nor the tuning but something as simple as axels?? Is it true that the axels you purchased from Vivid Racing does not work with stock lug nuts?? If this is true than that is terrible....hmmm I asked Sharkey to bring some down because I would like to compare. I hope you get everything worked out. I will be there friday or saturday depending on the roll on races.

Just got this from VR. Big brother on left and little brother on right, they are on the way.

 

Rob i have them on Mine and they worked and are working perfectly. As for the Stock lugs yes they will.

 

We call this "High HP Porsche California style". No seat time before the big event.

Well guys, we had a first shakedown pass this morning at 14psi and Betim was driving the car and went a 192mph. At 5pm, I drove the car to terminal velocity but at 3/4 marker at 208mph my rear tire blew and the car starting going sideways. Luckily I was able to steer the damn thing in a straight line and complete the mile marker. That was a close one. We will try more passes tomorrow. I went to EVOMS trailor and said hello to the whole crew including Todd Z. Joe G, KPG, Tom, and all the great people. Nice cars they had there, good times. More updates on the way tomorrow.

The last update was the 221mph pass which we were happy with. Came out there with no expectations really and we never claimed one. I must say those bugs or flies in TX are huge. My hood and bumper were smashed with some gigantic bugs, damn. Jake from Tial was joking with me saying it must be "Rats flying around" Good times guys and great to meet everyone in person again. After the new clutch install I will hopefully be able to put the car down to see some 60-130 runs and the race with a TT G. My word is my word even if I lose so be it. Cheers fellas.
