Question Aluminum gauges Question?

I was thinking of switching from my black gauges to the alum. Does anyone have them and can comment and/or post a pic?
Thanks.

Do you like them, are they hard to read, do they look good or would you stay with the black? I don't want to spend $400 for nothing.

Actually I love them... I had black ones on my previous TT and I think the aluminum look gauges look much better. Reading is no problem, since the numbers on the dials are background illuminated (in red/orange).

I wasn't aware that they are a 400 bucks investment. Mine had aluminium gauges right from the factory. But maybe you can sell your black gauges on Ebay and get back some of your cash.

I wouldn't have ordered them , but they came on the car the dealer had in stock. I find they are much more legible than the black gauges esp in poor light conditions ( driving under tree canopy or when the sun is ahead of you ). They actually look white, but become " silvery" if sun is behind or above you. At dusk, they glow purplish blue if sun is behind you.
