cruise control queastion

is the green symbol suppose to stay on all the time?

No, that means your cruise control is on. The light goes out when you turn it off.

You do know that the button on the end of the stalk turns it "on" and "off" .....and pushing the lever forward just engages or disengages the cruise control. (ie on/off is different than engage/release)
