Given the following mods: flash, exhaust, DV, Pss10s, how would a K16 and K24 996TT fare against modern day competition - Gallardo, Murcielago, F430 etc.

You should not have any problem with the Gallardo and F430. The murci , you need hybrids.

I saw a youtube video of a 997GT2 stock vs Muci and the GT2 won handily each time from a roll. Granted it's a 997 and GT2, but I was still a little surprised.

Look at this, it's me in Monza with my 996 TT with K24, flash, exhaust, DV's, headers, bigger coolers, samco hoses, 1,15-1,20 bar ... quite close but LP640 still faster, not by too much, but faster !

Ops ... 1 passenger with me !

And this compared to a Scuderia starting from 1:30

Slap a pair of K24/18's or GT30's and destroy almost all of the competition!

Those are some really great videos...thanks for sharing. That looks like a shortened version of the full GP course on Monza, but still absolutely incredible for those of us in the USA to comprehend. Awesome!

Did you pull on the Scuderia in the straightway towards the end? That's very impressive!

I've run an LP640 and would have pulled it if he would have waited long enough for me to get beside him before punching it. Just K24's/exhaust.

BTW jealous of people who get to drive at Monza. But it sure looks shabby on that video compared to the F1 weekends.

Great stuff! Do you happen to have a short shift kit on your 996TT? If so, may I ask which one you're using? Thanks a lot.

Yes, i have a short shift kit but not the factory one from Porsche, just one aftermarket bought from a German Ebayer ... easy to mount and working great !
Really nice improvement compared to the stock shifter, just stiffer when cold but giving great feeling !
