HOLY Crap!
What was I thinking. I love this car.
I got the flip bug over the winter.... was thinking 996 GT3, maybe a Lotus with a Mini-S swap....
All it took was the ride today. I'm only boosting at .6, but it seems like an jet on the end of the runway, you know that feeling of pressure pushing you in the seat. Same thing. What a blast.

I LOVE THIS CAR.

Now I want more power. Don't tell my wife.

Every time I drive mine, I remember WHY I love this car... I can see keeping this car for more than a decade, and possibly for several decades...

lol, isn't it nice to fantasize about the car you own and not the car you may never get.

I tried selling the other day and couldn't. Anything "better" than my TT is going to be a maintenance nightmare - Ferrari/Lambo. The cars just fly. So I picked up a TechArt bumper and am continuing to modify what I have.

mullynyc is infamous around these parts
I know the feeling Two years ago, I got the bug for a convertible so I sold my baby to a friend and got a 997 S Cab. Great car, but it was just that...a car. When lease came due, I called my buddy and asked how the car was doing. He said he was interested in selling so in 24 hours I had that thing on a hauler to come back home. Some times, I will take a break from work and just go look at the car. It's coming up on 8 years old but i think the 996 TT is simply a gorgeous car. People ask what car would you have if price was no object? My response...the one I have

I've seriously considered owning two 996 TT's. Would be perfectly content.

But that new GT3 is calling my name!!!!

exactly. The new GT3 is an amazing machine for the track. There is a beautiful basalt black one with sunroof that I have been eyeing for sometime now. price keeps dropping, and I may just use the kids college fund to buy it they can go work at McDees part time I figure to pay for school

I cannot think of a car that I would rather own for the same price as the 996TT. For me that is the most important question that you have to ask yourself. Of course, if money is not object you can start throwing all kinds of ideas on the table but otherwise the TT is here to stay.
