Okay, may-be parting out 996tt a couple pieces at a time, wanted to try out a basic pss9 street setup, i feel that the v3 are a bit overkill, i dont have the patience to keep dialing them in. Anyways, Anyone interested in trading susp + cash ? was there a 996tt factory upgraded suspension avail from porsche ? perhaps i can find a used one.

Dean, I hear your pain. Most people (including shops) do not have the ability to dial in a suspension of that caliber correctly. Also consider that what is perfect for one track will not be right for another or for the street. The Porsche X73 sports suspension is a factory optimized setup that is well balanced and performs very well. Lowers approx 1" compared to stock, comfy enough on the street, much better than stock on the track, no damper adjustment, no height adustment. Perfect for those of us that crave performance improvement but do not have the time, patience, skill or knowledge to get the most from an adjustable system. As they say, "Factory Perfect."

 

I've been searching for an X73 setup, anybody have a source for buying them?

 

Doc - excellent suspension suggestion - positive rep left for you - however i do enjoy having a little rake, lean the car towards the front, its a huge cure for the known porsche factory setup understeer. Lets see what happens, if trading the car in i may just leave the susp on it, but would like to trade all my parts with someone in one shot.
